Quartz

Quartz, sometimes referred to as engineered stone, is a manmade solid surface material that is becoming extremely popular due to it's durability and wide range of colors Quartz is non-porous and resists staining much better than its natural stone counterparts.

Quartzite distinguishes itself from other natural stones with its hardness. It is generally much harder and more durable than its granite and marble counterparts, as well as more resistant to scratches. Quartzite is a porous material that will require sealing 1-2 times per year.
